TV dating. In Chinese
25 OctMy friend Chris is outgoing. So outgoing that he landed me in the audience as he stretched his knowledge of Chinese to try and snag the best girl in a TV dating show.
Ha. As if.
It was rigged.
I knew the answer before I even got there. We all had dinner together a week before the show was even mooted.
It was fun. Even though I felt sick half way through it and had to do a mad dash under the stage to get to the bathroom. There is nothing worse than this in the world. I had to time it so I could vanish from the prime spot the producer kept for the whiteys. I was right in the firing line for the camera but needs musts and I had to run.
Anyway.
He picked or was picked by number 3 but who knows. Number 9 was in the running for a long while. Number nine was around a lot for a few days when 3 was away… But order is restored and all numbers are gone now.
We all retired to the Funky Mandarin for a beer afterwards. It was an interesting night.
I appear to have ended up on television.
8 OctThanks to one of my students for forwarding me this.
I can’t watch it. I was there. I know what happens.
Somebody make it go away.
